Card art by jes is a local small business specializing in eco-friendly handmade greeting cards and journals. It is owed and operated by Jes Arnold, a watercolor artist based in Warwood, WV. 

Growing up near Natrona Heights, PA, Jes always loved art, animals, and carving her own path. Those journeys have progressed from working in animal rescue and care, to joining a union as a pipefitter and simultaneously raising a small business. These experiences inspired her to provide a more eco-friendly and authentic greeting card than those you would typically find in stores. 

Card art by jes was born on the need for display-worthy cards, with blank canvas interiors for hand-written messages. They go out of their way to source responsibly, even purchasing plant-based plastic protective sleeves for their products.  All of the cover art is original watercolor and ink paintings that are digitalized, made into prints, and hand cut and folded to size. Appalachian Homestead stocks their A7 cards, which fit perfectly in a 5x7 frame, forever persevering the heartfelt messages within. You'll also find a few of Jes's original paintings for sale in store as well!

Card art by jes has an online marketplace where you can shop for things like cards, large prints, seed paper notecards, and handmade journals; made with paper made from recycled card trimmings and hand-bound into small journals for watercolors, drawing, or writing!
