At Appalachian Homestead, our shop is more than retail—it’s a hands-on space where people learn to live more sustainably.

Our primary need is for team members who can confidently run the refillery portion of the store—helping customers refill bulk goods, understand products, and feel welcomed into the space.

This role is part customer service, part education, and part keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

We’re a small team, so flexibility, initiative, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed are important.

While we may not always have an immediate opening, we’re always looking to connect with people who align with what we do.

Who we are looking for:

• Enjoys working with people and building connections

• Has an interest in sustainability, low-waste living, or homesteading

• Values clean, organic, and locally sourced food

• Is detail-oriented (measuring, labeling, cleanliness matter here)

• Is comfortable learning hands-on systems

• Can take initiative in a small, evolving environment
